ZIMBABWE COVID-19 TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Fully vaccinated travellers and returning residents no longer need to present a negative COVID-19 PCR Test to enter Zimbabwe - (Proof of Vaccination is required)
  • Travellers or returning residents above the age of 12 who are NOT fully vaccinated are required to present a valid negative COVID-19 PCR Test, no older than 48 hours prior to time of departure of country of origin.
  • Children under the age of 12 do not need a negative COVID-19 PCR test (even if not vaccinated)
  • You will be required to complete an Immigration Form and a Data Entry Form on arrival to Zimbabwe. (This can be downloaded below).
  • Passengers will undergo temperature checks upon arrival in Zimbabwe at all Port Health check points.
  • Anyone recording a temperature of 38'C (or who shows symptoms) will be required to have a COVID-19 PCR Test at their own expense - regardless of a negative certificate.
  • You will be required to wear a mask and follow social distancing guidlines in all airports throughout Zimbabwe.
  • All travellers are expected to follow WHO COVID-19 guidelines at hospitality and recreational facilities (social distancing, wearing a mask and hand sanitizing etc).
  • Visitors are allowed to travel countrywide in Zimbabwe without restriction. It is adviseable to carry a copy of your travel booking as confirmation of transit.
  • A dedicated national toll-free '2023' helpline and call center is available for information about COVID-19 to travellers.
  • A negative COVID-19 PCR Test is no longer a requirement for departure from any Zimbabwean International Port of Exit, UNLESS the onward destination or airline requires it - please check with your airline and or country of destinations information page for more information on the requirements.
