RATES:

All Natureways Safaris rates include 2% Government Tourism Levy, 15% VAT (Value Added Tax) and exclude all National Parks fees. Natureways Safaris only offers an all year round rate however please contact us for our ‘safari specials’ which occur throughout the year. For child rates please look under ‘Child Policy’.

No single supplement is charged unless client requests a private safari.

PAYMENT POLICY:

• A non-refundable deposit of 30% is required to confirm your booking.
• Full payment is due 6 weeks before departure.
• If the booking is made within 6 weeks of departure, full payment is required on confirmation of the booking.
• Natureways Safaris will no be responsible for costs incurred during money transfers, we require the full invoiced rate.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

• Written notice is required if you wish to cancel your booking.
• 6 weeks prior to departure 30% cancellation fee applies.
• 4 to 6 weeks prior to departure, 50% cancellation fee applies.
• 3 to 4 weeks prior to departure, 75% cancellation fee applies.
• 3 weeks or less, 100% cancellation fee applies.

NUMBER OF PEOPLE PER SAFARI:

The maximum numbers of people per safari are as below, however please note we can accommodate more people by special request.

• 8 people per Canoe Safari (Explorer & Odyssey).
• 6 people per Mana Shoreline Walking Safari.
• 8 people per Camp Chitake & Zambezi Safari.

Private safaris can be arranged with a minimum of 4 people, please note private safaris must be requested.

CHILD POLICY:

As a general rule we do not recommend children under 14 years of age on canoe safaris for safety reasons.

• No children under 14 years of age will be accepted with mixed groups.
• Children under 14 years of age are welcome if the trip is private or in conjunction with other families.
• Please note that our Camp Zambezi Safari is our most family friendly and children of all ages are welcome.

0 to 5 years of age - One child is free of charge, second child 50% of adult rate.
6 to 13 years of age – 50% of adult rate.
14 years of age and above full adult rate.

INDEMNITY FORM:

All participants are expected to sign an indemnity form upon arrival in Mana Pools (Odyssey Safaris) or at their briefing (Explorer Safaris). Failure to do so will result in cancellation of the safari.

DIETARY & ALLERGY REQUIRMENTS:

All requirements are to be advised to Natureways Safaris 4 weeks prior to departure, so as to organize the required menu. Natureways cannot be held responsible for not providing particular food items if we are not advised in advance of the safari.

LUGGAGE RESTRICTION:

All clients are restricted to a maximum of 10kg baggage allowance, should you have more than 10kg of baggage please advise us so that arrangements can be made.

TRAVEL INSURANCE:

We recommend that all participants travelling with Natureways Safaris take out full travel insurance.

GUIDES:

Each safari will have a lead guide, Explorer Safaris have qualified canoe guide and Odyssey Safaris have a qualified professional guide for each group. Private safari guides are available by request but will have a daily surcharge

PHOTOGRAPHIC COPYRIGHTS:

Natureways staff, guides and guests may take photographs incorporating you on safari, please understand that the photographs will only be used for marketing purposes. Natureways Safaris Pvt Ltd reserves the right to use these photographs for marketing purposes.

EXPLORER CANOE SAFARI

Include:

• Services of fully qualified canoe guide.
• Use of all camping and canoe equipment.
• Road transfers from and to Kariba Town to the start and finish of the safari.
• All meals, basic drinks (tea, coffee, imported wine with dinner, and 2L of bottled mineral water per person per day).

Exclude:

• ALL National Parks fees, contact Natureways or your agent for up to date fees payable directly to National Parks.
• Dinks not mentioned above (i.e. soft drinks, beers and alcohol).
• Any personal expenses.

ODYSSEY SAFARIS

Include:

• Services of fully qualified professional guide.
• All activities (canoeing, walking and game drives). NOT limited to a per day usage.
• Use of all camping and canoe equipment.
• All meals and snacks.
• All drinks, inclusive of a selection of imported wines, spirits and local beers as well as soft drinks.
• Complementary laundry (time permitting).

Exclude:

• ALL National Parks fees, contact Natureways or your agent for up to date fees which are payable directly to National Parks.
• Transfers to and from Mana Pools National Park.
• Any personal expenses.
